I will be in the market this spring for a Mustang possibly, mabye 10-12 years old.  I cant string 3 flights together on a 421c without something breaking.  Im told I would be lucky to string 1 flight together without an issue with an Eclipse.  Im fine with a big annual to get things up to speed, not fine with unscheduled frequent issues, never fine with being stranded at a destination waiting for a part.  What do you guys see on your planes in this regard?

Hi Brian,

There is is at least one real world Mustang pilot who is sometimes in these forums, so you may get a response.

However, you might be better of posting in a real world forum.
Best,
Jim

Hello Brian,

In 2019, I went from a Cessna 421C to a C510. I love it.
The Mustang is an excellent single pilot jet with modern design and systems.
Very reliable, great performance, sophisticated safety features.

The Flight1 Mustang on P3D is a great tool for training.

Eclipse is a dead horse. Nice design, but no future.

Membership at Citation Jet Pilots is a valuable source.
There are some interesting threads about the Mustang at Beechtalk, e.g.

Have I mentioned that I love the Mustang?

Best regards,

Andi
