   I've written a small FSX gauge that runs along with your panel and implements (through FSUIPC) proper fuel distribution and transfer in the Mustang...i.e., fuel burns from each engine's respective tank, transfer actually moves fuel from one side to the other, assymetric power settings produce assymetric fuel burn, and running one tank out of fuel will not flame out both engines, etc.  It adds fuel management back into the pilot workload as it should be.

This is a small third-party gauge written to properly manage fuel distribution/consumption for a two-engine FSX aircraft with two main tanks.  It was written specifically with the Flight 1 Cessna Mustang model (version 1.02a) in mind, but should work with other similarly-configured aircraft.  The gauge is invisible, and is controlled with the panel's own fuel tank/transfer switches.  
A registered installation of FSUIPC v4 is required for this gauge to function.
Once installed, each engine will burn fuel from its respective main tank--assymetric fuel flows will result in an imbalance, as in the real world.  Selecting transfer will actually result in fuel being transferred from one tank to the other in addition to crossfeeding fuel to the opposite engine.

* Users please note: any modifications such as this can affect flight dynamics if you are not wisely managing your fuel distribution.  Also, using other 3rd party utilities such as FSUIPC "might" introduce other abnormal behaviors so please keep this in mind before posting any possible complaints about flight dynamics.
